ACP is the standard substrate for fascia signs, hoarding, safety boards, pylon faces, and building cladding signage across the UAE — flat, rigid, corrosion-resistant, and available in a fire-rated (FR) core for regulated applications. Here's what it is and where it's used.

Aluminum Composite Panel — two thin aluminium sheets bonded to a solid polyethylene or fire-rated core — is the substrate behind most of the signage we produce: fascia sign faces, hoarding panels, safety and compliance boards, pylon faces, and building identification cladding. It's flat, rigid, doesn't warp in UAE heat the way PVC does, and takes a UV-cured print or a solid colour finish equally well.
We cut, route, and fabricate ACP in-house at our Ajman facility rather than outsourcing panel work, which means faster turnaround and tighter control over finish quality — panel flatness and edge finishing are where a rushed ACP job usually shows.

ACP isn't a sign product on its own — it's the substrate underneath many of the products we fabricate. Here's where it shows up.

Flat, rigid panel faces for shopfront fascia signs — holds a crisp cut-vinyl or printed graphic without the waviness PVC develops in direct sun.

FR-core ACP is the standard for perimeter hoarding on UAE construction sites, meeting Dubai Civil Defence fire-rating requirements for temporary site structures.

Project site boards and mandatory safety boards are built on 3-4mm ACP in a lockable frame — rigid enough to resist tampering, light enough to mount without heavy structural support.

Solid-colour or printed ACP cladding for pylon and monument sign structures, giving a clean painted-metal look without the weight of solid aluminium sheet.

Large-format building name and logo cladding, routed and channel-let for illuminated letters or flat-mounted for daytime identification.

Facility map boards and directory signage use ACP for its flat, laminated print surface and resistance to warping when mounted outdoors.
| Warp resistance | Weight | Fire rating | Typical use | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ACP (3-4mm) | High | Light | FR-core available | Fascia, hoarding, safety boards |
| PVC foam board | Low in direct sun | Very light | Not fire-rated | Short-term indoor/outdoor signage |
| Solid aluminium sheet | High | Heavy | Non-combustible | Structural pylon & monument faces |
| Correx / corrugated plastic | Low | Very light | Not fire-rated | Temporary event & site signage |
ACP is not one product — panel thickness, core type, and finish all change depending on what the panel is going into. A hoarding panel needs a certified FR core; a fascia face doesn't. Getting this wrong either overspends on a simple sign or produces a non-compliant hoarding panel.
