Cast acrylic face panel UV-printed with your brand, mounted on an aluminium box frame. LED modules inside illuminate the face evenly. Available in single or double-sided.
Translucent PVC fabric stretched over the aluminium frame and secured with a keder rail system. Best for wide signs over 2m where a seamless join-free face is needed.
Aluminium channel letters or acrylic letters mounted on top of a flat or illuminated backlit panel, adding depth and premium presence.
Backlit cabinet with illuminated faces on both sides — visible from both directions of traffic. Standard for projecting and hanging blade signs.
Backlit cabinet cut to a custom shape — oval, arch, hexagon, logo outline, or any profile. CNC-routed aluminium frame and matching face.
ACM or aluminium panel with printed or cut-vinyl brand graphics — no LED. Can be upgraded to backlit later with minimal modification to the frame.

A backlit sign board is only as good as its LED distribution. Too few modules and you get dark patches. Too shallow a cabinet and you see hot-spots. We calculate module spacing and cabinet depth for every sign before fabrication.

Common questions about backlit sign boards
- A backlit sign board has LED modules inside the cabinet illuminating a translucent face from behind — the entire face glows. A frontlit sign uses external spotlights or LED strips pointing at the sign face from outside the cabinet.
- Cabinet depth determines how evenly the face is illuminated. LED module spacing should be approximately equal to the cabinet depth. For large signs with fewer modules, a deeper cabinet (120–200mm) is needed to prevent hot-spots.
- Yes. Acrylic faces are held by a retaining frame and can be unclipped and replaced with a new print without removing the cabinet. Flex-face panels are even easier — the keder strip releases and the new face drops in.
- Not if you use cast acrylic. Extruded acrylic (cheaper) yellows within 1–2 years of UAE sun exposure. We use only cast UV-stabilised acrylic which will not yellow for 5+ years.
- Yes. All external illuminated signs in Dubai require a Dubai Municipality sign permit. We handle the full application and do not install any external sign without a valid permit in place.
- A standard backlit sign board (up to 3m wide, acrylic face, aluminium frame) is typically ready in 5–10 working days from approved artwork. Larger signs take 10–14 days.
- A standard backlit acrylic face sign board (1.5m × 0.6m, single-sided) typically starts from AED 1,200–2,000. A full shopfront backlit board (5m × 0.8m) ranges AED 4,000–9,000.
- Yes. We can fit an inline dimmer switch, an RF remote control receiver, or a programmable timer switch — useful for energy saving after closing hours.
