Quick answer

What signage does an exhibition booth need?

A typical booth needs a fascia sign or hanging sign so visitors find you across the hall, a logo feature at the back wall, a printed backdrop, product display graphics, a booth number and, on bigger stands, meeting room signs. Organisers add hall directories and sponsor identification signs.

Exhibition signs work under pressure. Visitors scan a hall in seconds, so your name must show above the crowd. Build-up windows are short, venues inspect materials and rigging, and everything has to come down again in hours. A sign that looks fine in the factory but arrives too big for the truck, or without fire-rated paperwork, can cost you the show.

We build booth signage for exhibitors, stand contractors and organisers. Our Ajman factory produces 3D logos, lit fascias, hanging signs, fabric SEG lightboxes, aluminium frames and printed panels in-house, so we can plan a stand package as one job and test-fit it before it leaves. For exhibitors who show several times a year, we design modular kits that pack into crates and reuse well.

Types

Exhibition & Trade Show Signs we make

  1. Booth fascia and illuminated signs

    Shell scheme and custom stands

Exhibition booth fascia signs and illuminated booth signs that carry your name along the stand edge, with LED backlighting that holds up under bright hall lights.

  2. 3D logos and freestanding letters

    Brand impact and photo spots

3D logo signs for back walls and freestanding logo letters for the stand floor, in acrylic, foam, metal or lit construction.

  3. Hanging exhibition signs

    Large halls and island stands

Ring, square or triangle printed panel and frame signs rigged above the stand, so visitors can locate you from across the hall.

  4. Backdrops, SEG lightboxes and modular systems

Exhibitors showing several times a year

Printed exhibition backdrops, backlit fabric SEG lightbox walls and modular display panels on aluminium frames that pack flat and build without tools.

  5. Product and meeting room graphics

    Product launches and sales meetings

Product display signage, counter graphics, booth number signs and meeting room signs for stands with private areas.

  6. Organiser and sponsor signage

    Event organisers and sponsors

Exhibition hall directories, sponsor identification signs, entrance arches and wayfinding for organisers running the whole floor.

Choosing well

Getting exhibition signs right

  • Read the exhibitor manual first

The organiser's manual sets stand height, rigging points, power, deadlines and material rules. Send it to us with your brief so the design fits the rules before artwork is drawn.

  • Decide one-off or reusable

A custom build suits a single big launch. If you show three or more times a year, a modular frame system with replaceable printed graphics usually costs less over time and builds faster.

  • Design for the far side of the hall

Put your logo and one short message high up. Visitors walking the aisle look at eye level, but they choose where to walk from what they see above the crowd.

  • Plan transport and storage

Big letters and lit boxes need crates and a vehicle that fits venue loading bays. Roll-up banners and flex graphics roll into cases, which makes shipping between shows much easier.

  • Allow time for a test build

Building the stand once in the factory catches missing parts and wrong sizes before build-up day, when there is no time to fix them.

Plan it

Custom one-off build

Put the budget into a striking 3D logo, a lit fascia and printed backdrop sized to that stand. Reuse the logo next year if the brand stays the same.

UAE conditions

UAE venue rules and timelines

  • Venue and organiser rules

Venues such as Dubai World Trade Centre, Expo City Dubai and ADNEC usually set rules on rigging, stand height, electrical work and materials. Rules differ by venue and show, so we confirm the current requirement for your event.

  • Fire-rated materials

Organisers commonly ask for fire-retardant boards and print media, sometimes with certificates. We source suitable materials and supply the documentation your stand contractor needs for submission.

  • Short build-up and breakdown windows

Build-up and breakdown slots are fixed and short. We pre-assemble, label every part and plan delivery to the venue's loading schedule so signs go up within your slot.

  • Outdoor and semi-outdoor areas

Some events run in open areas where heat and wind are a factor. We use UV-stable print, weighted bases and wind-rated frames for outdoor sponsor boards.

FAQ

Exhibition & Trade Show Signs: common questions

How long does it take to make exhibition booth signs?

It depends on the sign, and we confirm a production schedule in the quote. Printed panels and banners are the simplest items, while lit 3D logos and custom fascias need more time for fabrication and wiring. Send your show dates and stand plan early so we can work back from the build-up date.

Do exhibition signs need to be fire-rated in Dubai?

Often, yes. Organisers and venues commonly ask for fire-retardant boards and print media, and some want certificates before build-up. Requirements differ by venue and event, so check the exhibitor manual. We source suitable materials, supply the paperwork and confirm the current requirement for your show, ideally well before the stand submission deadline.

Can you install hanging signs at the venue?

We make hanging signs and can deliver and assemble them, but rigging from the hall ceiling is usually done or approved by the venue's appointed rigger. The sign's weight and size need to be submitted in advance. We supply the drawings and weights so your stand contractor can book rigging on time.

Is a reusable exhibition system worth it?

It usually is if you exhibit several times a year. Aluminium frames, fabric SEG lightboxes and modular panels can be rebuilt in different layouts, and only the printed graphics need replacing when messages change. For a single show, a custom build may give more impact for the same spend.

Can you store our signs between shows?

Yes, we can crate, label and store reusable signs and frames at our Ajman facility, then check, repair and deliver them before your next event. Storage terms are agreed in the quote. Many exhibitors find it easier than keeping bulky crates in an office or a car park.

Do you work with stand contractors or only exhibitors?

Both. Stand builders often bring us in for lit logos, fascias, printed graphics and 3D letters while they handle the structure. Exhibitors with a simple stand can order signs from us directly. We work to the stand drawings and coordinate delivery with the team that manages build-up.
