One central steel column supporting a sign cabinet. Most economical pylon type — suitable for heights up to 6m. Common for single-tenant businesses, petrol stations, and small commercial properties.
Two steel columns supporting a taller cabinet with multiple tenant panels. Standard for commercial complexes, shopping centres, and business parks. Heights typically 5–10m.
Ground-level freestanding sign — wide, solid body, no exposed pole. Used at building entrances, hotel driveways, and office tower lobbies. Heights typically 1.5m–3m. For a directory-style entrance sign with multiple icon-led panels, see our dedicated totem signs.
Tall pylons (8m–12m+) for sites along Sheikh Zayed Road, Emirates Road, and major arterial roads. Large cabinet area for maximum visibility at 120 km/h.

Pylon signs are the most heavily regulated sign type in the UAE. Every pylon requires structural engineering drawings, municipality approval, and in most cases RTA NOC. We manage the entire process.

UAE pylon signs face extreme conditions — 50°C ambient heat, UV degradation, shamal dust storms, and high-speed wind events. Every material we specify is rated for 10+ years in these conditions.

Common questions about pylon signs
- Dubai Municipality regulates pylon height based on plot size, road classification, and surrounding context. On commercial plots fronting major roads, pylons of 6–10m are commonly approved. On plots fronting Sheikh Zayed Road or E311, taller pylons may be permitted subject to RTA NOC.
- Pylon permits in Dubai take 4–8 weeks from submission to approval — longer than canopy or fascia sign permits because structural engineering review is required. RTA NOC (if applicable) adds another 2–4 weeks. Sharjah and Ajman are typically faster at 2–5 weeks.
- Yes. We design tenant panels to be individually replaceable — new ACM panels slide in and out of the cabinet frame without dismantling the structure. Flex-face cabinets require fabric replacement, done with a scissor lift.
- RTA NOC is required when the pylon is within the RTA road reservation — the zone measured from the road centre-line. On arterial roads this can be 30–60m. We check this during the site survey.
- Foundation depth depends on pylon height, column loading, and soil bearing capacity. A typical 6m pylon requires a foundation of approximately 1.5m–2m depth. A 10m pylon may need 2.5m–3m.
- Yes. All our pylon cabinets are available in single-sided, double-sided (back-to-back), or V-shape (angled toward traffic from each direction). Each face can carry different content.
- A single-tenant pylon (4m, single-pole, non-illuminated) starts from approximately AED 8,000–15,000. A twin-pole multi-tenant illuminated pylon (6m, 4 tenant panels) typically ranges AED 25,000–50,000. Highway pylons above 8m start from AED 60,000+.
- Yes. We install pylons across Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain, and Abu Dhabi. Our factory and crews are based in Ajman Industrial Area 2.
