Most outdoor signs in Dubai require a permit before installation. Installing without one risks a stop-notice from DM, RTA, or the relevant authority — and you pay for removal and re-installation. The permit process is not complicated if you know it. We do.
We have submitted hundreds of sign permit applications across Dubai Municipality, RTA, Sharjah Municipality, Ajman Municipality, TRAKHEES, and free zone authorities. We prepare the drawings, submit, and follow up — you don’t visit any government office.

Common questions about outdoor signage in Dubai
- Yes — most outdoor signs in Dubai require a Dubai Municipality sign permit before installation. This applies to fascia signs, pylon signs, canopy signs, hoardings, and outdoor advertising signs on DM-jurisdiction properties. Signs on public roads or adjacent to them also require an RTA NOC. Installing without a permit risks a stop-notice, sign removal at your cost, and a compliance record. We manage the full permit process and advise on the required authorities at the quotation stage.
- With materials correctly specified for UAE conditions, outdoor signs should last 5–10 years with minimal maintenance. We warrant the structural integrity and print quality of our outdoor signs for 5 years (10 years on structural steel elements). Signs that fail prematurely in the UAE are almost always specified with materials designed for temperate European climates.
- A fascia sign is mounted directly on a building's facade — it is attached to the wall, parapet, or beam of the building structure. A pylon sign is freestanding — it stands independently of the building on its own post and foundation. Pylon signs are used when the building is set back from the road and the fascia sign is not visible from passing traffic.
- Yes — we work with mall tenants across Dubai regularly. Mall leases include a "sign manual" that specifies permitted sign types, maximum sizes, permitted materials, lighting types, and colour restrictions for each unit. We read and work within the sign manual, produce artwork that complies with it, and coordinate the landlord approval process before fabrication.
- Yes — that is our core proposition. We design, fabricate, permit, and install. You brief us, approve the design and cost, and we deliver the installed sign. You do not need a separate designer, fabricator, permit agent, and installation contractor.

We will respond with an indicative price range the same day, and arrange a site visit if required for an accurate fixed quote.
- Lead times depend on the sign type and permit requirements. Simple signs without permits can be produced in 3–7 working days. Signs requiring DM permits: 3–5 weeks total. Pylon signs and structural canopies requiring structural engineering and DM approval: 4–8 weeks.
- Yes — we offer Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for outdoor signs, covering LED module replacement, face cleaning, structural inspection, repainting, and vinyl replacement. We also carry out one-off repairs on signs we did not originally fabricate.
