Quick answer

How early should I order Ramadan or Eid campaign signage in the UAE?

Order Ramadan and Eid signage as early as you can before the campaign starts, especially if mall or landlord approval is needed. Print and installation slots fill quickly before Ramadan, DSF and White Friday. Reusing existing frames with new graphics keeps the programme shorter, and we confirm the schedule with your quote.

Campaign signs have a fixed deadline and a short life. A Ramadan offer that goes up on the third day of the month has already lost sales, and a sale banner left up after the sale confuses customers. The work is less about one perfect sign and more about planning print runs, approvals and install nights so everything appears on the same morning across every branch.

We print and fabricate campaign graphics in our Ajman factory and install them across Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates. Many clients keep a set of aluminium frames, lightbox faces or hoarding structures and only change the printed skin each season. We can store, swap, remove and reinstall graphics on a schedule, so you are not paying for a new structure every Eid.

Types

Temporary & Campaign Signage we make

  1. Ramadan and Eid campaign signs

    Retail, restaurants and malls

Seasonal graphics for shopfronts, malls and forecourts, from crescent motifs to offer boards, usually printed on flex or vinyl for fixed frames.

  2. Sale and promotional campaign boards

    Shops running timed offers

Banners, window boards and campaign posters announcing sales for DSF, Summer Surprises, White Friday or brand events, sized to existing frames.

  3. Grand opening signs

    New branches and showrooms

Temporary fascia covers, coming-soon boards, opening banners and ribbon-day backdrops that hold the space until the permanent sign is ready.

  4. Pop-up and roadshow displays

    Mall activations and touring promotions

Lightweight display boards, kiosk graphics and portable frames that pack flat and go up quickly in malls, offices or event halls.

  5. Temporary event and directional boards

    Events, launches and site visits

Short-term signs that direct visitors to parking, entrances or event areas, on stands or fixed to fences and barriers.

  6. Temporary construction signs

    Fit-outs and short works

Short-term notices, diversion boards and hoarding panels for works that last weeks rather than years, printed on rigid boards or mesh.

Choosing well

Running a campaign rollout without last-minute panic

  • Work back from the go-live date

Fix the date the signs must be up, then count back for installation, printing, artwork approval and any mall or landlord sign-off. Ramadan dates shift each year, so check the expected start early.

  • Measure once, reuse every season

Build a size list of every frame, window and lightbox across your branches. With a reliable schedule, each new campaign is artwork and print only, with no repeat site surveys.

  • Design a reusable base

A neutral frame or branded header can stay in place while the campaign message changes. Changing a printed skin costs less and is faster than building a new sign each time.

  • Plan removal at the same time

Agree the takedown date when you order. Expired offers left on display can mislead shoppers, and old vinyl baked in the sun is harder to remove the longer it stays.

  • Keep campaign text short

One offer, one date and the brand. Shoppers walking past a window or driving past a forecourt have a few seconds, so large numbers and clear Arabic and English beat long lists of products.

UAE conditions

Seasons, malls and permits in the UAE

  • Mall and landlord rules

Malls usually set rules on window coverage, hanging graphics, materials and install hours, and many need artwork approved before printing. Work is often allowed only at night. We send drawings to mall management early.

  • Outdoor permits for temporary signs

Temporary banners and boards outside a shop or on a fence may still need a permit from Dubai Municipality or the local municipality, especially facing a road. We confirm the current requirement for your site.

  • Respectful Ramadan and Eid content

Seasonal graphics should suit the occasion. We check Arabic greetings carefully, keep imagery appropriate and make sure both languages carry the same message.

  • Summer sun on short-term media

Even a short spell of strong summer sun can fade cheap prints and loosen adhesives. For outdoor campaigns we use UV-resistant inks and secure fixings, and allow for wind on large banners.

FAQ

Temporary & Campaign Signage: common questions

How quickly can you produce campaign signage?

It depends on the job, and we give you a realistic schedule with the quote. Simple print jobs to known sizes move fastest once artwork is approved, while new frames, lightboxes or large rollouts take longer. Before Ramadan, DSF and White Friday, demand for printing and install crews peaks, so book early to secure your dates.

Can we reuse our sign frames for every season?

Yes, and it usually saves money. Aluminium frames, poster frames and lightboxes are built to take replaceable graphics. Each season we print new flex or vinyl to the same sizes and swap them on site. We keep a size schedule for your branches so reorders need only artwork and dates.

Do malls need to approve our Ramadan or sale signage?

Most malls in the UAE ask tenants to submit campaign artwork and drawings for approval before installation. They often control window coverage, hanging graphics and the hours when contractors can work, which is usually at night. We prepare the submission, follow up with mall management and schedule installation to fit their rules.

Do temporary outdoor banners need a permit?

Often they do. Banners, boards and flags facing a public road or placed outside your plot typically need approval from Dubai Municipality or the local municipality, even for a short campaign. Signs inside a mall or behind shop glass usually only need the landlord's consent. We confirm the current requirement for your site.

Will you remove the signs after the campaign?

Yes. We can book removal when we install, take down banners and vinyl, clean the glass and return frames to their base state. Graphics you want to keep for next year can be rolled and stored. Removing on time matters, because expired offers confuse customers and sun-baked vinyl becomes harder to lift.

What affects the cost of seasonal and campaign signs?

Cost depends on the number of locations, sizes, the print media, whether new frames are needed and how installation is scheduled. Night work in malls and multi-branch rollouts add labour. Reusing existing frames keeps costs down, as you only pay for new graphics. Share your branch list and campaign dates for a quote, usually within 24 hours.
