Ramadan Decoration Signage & Eid Signs in Dubai and the UAE

Bayan Signage designs and builds Ramadan decorations and Eid signage for malls, hotels, offices, restaurants and shops across the UAE. Crescents, lanterns, calligraphy panels and window graphics are cut, printed, wired and light-tested in our Ajman factory, installed out of trading hours where venues require it, and designed to pack flat so the same set returns next year.

Ramadan & Eid Signage in the UAE

Ramadan decoration signage designed for the whole season

Ramadan decoration signage covers everything from a greeting on a cafe window to an illuminated crescent in a mall atrium: lit crescents and stars, lantern shapes, hanging decor, Arabic calligraphy panels reading Ramadan Kareem, iftar tent signs and Eid Mubarak greetings. Malls, hotels, corporate receptions, restaurants and retail chains commission these Ramadan decorations each year to mark the month for guests, staff and customers.

The best seasonal sets are designed as one scheme for Ramadan and Eid together, not ordered piece by piece in the last week. Late orders force compromises on size, lighting and finish, and mall approvals take time. We design structures that stay up for the whole month, with greeting panels that swap from Ramadan Kareem to Eid Mubarak in minutes, and we have every line of calligraphy checked before it is cut.

Bayan Signage has run its own factory in Ajman since 2016 as the production arm of Bayan Advertising, which has 15 years in the UAE. Laser cutting of acrylic and metal, CNC routing, large-format printing, LED assembly and full-brightness testing all happen in-house. Because we design pieces to be dismantled and stored, many clients reuse the same Ramadan decoration set for several years with only new greetings or graphics.

Our process

How we make Ramadan decorations in our Ajman factory

  1. Brief and site survey

We look at the space, the ceiling or window, power points and the landlord's seasonal guidelines. Site visits are free in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman, and earlier is always better before Ramadan.

  2. Scheme design and calligraphy check

Our designers draw the Ramadan and Eid pieces as one scheme, in your brand colours or classic gold, and every greeting is checked by a native Arabic speaker before approval.

  3. Laser cutting, routing and printing

Acrylic and metal shapes are laser-cut, panels CNC-routed and graphics printed in-house, with joints designed so large pieces separate into sections for storage.

  4. LED fitting and burn-in

Neon flex and LED modules are fitted, drivers wired and every lit piece run at full brightness in our test area, so a dark section never reaches the venue.

  5. Inspection and packing

Each piece is checked against the approved design, then packed in labelled boxes with an assembly sheet, ready for this year and the next.

  6. Night installation and handover

We install outside trading hours where malls and hotels require it, hang pieces from approved points, set timers to sunset and test everything after dark before handover.

Expert advice

Advice from our seasonal projects team

Ramadan moves about ten to eleven days earlier each year, and workshops are busiest in the weeks before it. These are the decisions that make the season easy.

Order before the rush, not during it

Brief us on Ramadan decorations as soon as your budget is agreed, well before the expected start of the month, and approve designs early. Illuminated pieces, mall atrium installations and anything that needs landlord approval need the most time, and we give you a realistic schedule with the quote. Orders placed at the last minute compete with every other business in the country and usually mean a smaller piece, a simpler finish or no lighting.

Design Eid at the same time

Many businesses design for Ramadan and remember Eid in the last week. We draw both together: the crescent, lanterns and patterns stay up for the whole season, and a slot-in panel or vinyl overlay changes Ramadan Kareem to Eid Mubarak. That saves the cost of new pieces, avoids a second night installation and keeps the look consistent.

Use warm white light

Cool white LEDs at 6000 K or more look clinical on a crescent or lantern. Warm white around 2700 to 3000 K gives the soft, golden glow people associate with the season and flatters gold mirror acrylic. If your brand colour is cool, use it in the graphics and keep the light warm.

Keep hanging decor high and doors clear

Keep the lowest point of any hanging piece at least 2.4 m above walkways, higher where trolleys and crowds pass. In shop windows, place greetings at about 1.2 to 1.8 m and leave a clear band on door glass, so decorations never hide safety stickers, opening hours or make a glass door hard to see.

Plan storage before you order

A 2 m lantern that does not fit in the store room gets damaged and replaced. We design large Ramadan decoration pieces as flat-pack kits: a crescent that bolts to its base, lanterns that separate into panels, greetings that slide into a frame. A full set fits in a few labelled boxes and goes back up in one night next year.

Pricing

Ramadan decoration price in Dubai: what affects the cost

We price every scheme from its drawings. Send photos of the space, sizes, the number of locations and your dates, and you will usually receive an itemised quote within 24 hours.

Size and complexity

Large crescents, layered lanterns and custom shapes take more material and workshop time than flat pieces in acrylic or printed panels.

Illumination

Neon flex, LED modules, drivers and timers add cost compared with non-lit mirror pieces. Outdoor-rated and hard-wired lighting adds further work.

Materials and finish

Gold mirror acrylic and metal frames cost more than printed panels or vinyl, but last for several seasons of reuse.

Number of locations

Malls and multi-branch businesses ordering matching sets spread design cost, while delivery and installation scheduling add work.

Installation

Hanging decor in atriums may need lifts, night shifts and mall coordination. Wall and window pieces are quicker to fit.

Timing

Orders placed close to Ramadan compete with peak demand and may need overtime, which affects the price. Early orders are easier to schedule.

Approvals

Ramadan decoration approvals and respectful design

Malls, landlords and hotels usually issue seasonal decor guidelines covering size, lighting, materials, fixing methods and installation hours, and most ask to approve designs before installation. Banners or lit pieces on an outdoor facade may also need municipality or free-zone approval. We prepare drawings for these submissions and confirm the current requirements for your site early, before the busy weeks.

Design matters as much as approvals. Greetings and imagery should be dignified, and Quranic verses or sacred text should never be placed where they could be stepped on, sat against or treated casually, such as on floor graphics or bins. Every line of Arabic is checked by a native speaker, and when in doubt we ask rather than guess.

Why Bayan Signage

Why businesses choose Bayan Signage for Ramadan decorations

Made and lit in-house

Laser cutting, printing, LED assembly and full-brightness testing happen in our Ajman factory, so lit pieces arrive working.

Calligraphy checked properly

Every Ramadan and Eid greeting is reviewed by a native Arabic speaker before cutting or printing, because errors in sacred text are not acceptable.

Built to be reused

Flat-pack and modular designs with labelled boxes let you reinstall the same set next year in a single night.

Night installation

Our crews install outside trading hours in malls and hotels, hang pieces from approved points and set timers before the first iftar.

Itemised, honest quotes

Fabrication, lighting, installation and approvals are listed separately, so you can see what each piece costs.

More than 500 clients, including national retail groups and international brands, many of whom return to us every season.

FAQ

Ramadan & Eid Signage questions we are asked most

How much do Ramadan decorations cost in Dubai?

It depends on the size and number of pieces, whether they are illuminated, the materials, the installation height and how close to Ramadan you order. A window graphic and small lit crescent cost a fraction of an atrium scheme with hanging lanterns. Send photos and sizes, and we will usually send an itemised quote within 24 hours.

How early should we order Ramadan decoration signage?

As early as you can, ideally as soon as your budget is agreed, with designs approved well before the expected start of Ramadan. Ramadan moves about ten to eleven days earlier each year, and workshops are busiest just before it. Illuminated pieces and anything needing mall approval need the most time, so we confirm a realistic programme with your quote.

Can our Ramadan signage be reused for Eid?

Yes. We design greeting panels with changeable inserts or overlays, so Ramadan Kareem becomes Eid Mubarak with minimal work. Crescents, lanterns and patterns stay up through Eid, and only the greeting changes, which saves cost and a second installation night.

What lighting works best for Ramadan decorations?

Warm white LED lighting around 2700 to 3000 K gives a soft, festive glow. LED neon flex suits crescents and outlines, while LED modules work for larger pieces and lanterns. Outdoor lighting should be IP65 rated, with drivers in shaded, ventilated boxes and a timer to switch on at sunset.

Do we need approval for Ramadan decor in a mall?

Usually, yes. Malls and landlords often have seasonal guidelines on size, lighting, materials, fixings and installation times, and they may need to approve window graphics and hanging pieces. We confirm the current requirements and prepare drawings early, so installation can go ahead on time.

Can Ramadan decorations be made in our brand colours?

Yes. Many brands want crescents, lanterns or patterns that reflect their identity. We balance brand colours with a respectful, festive look, often combining them with gold mirror acrylic and warm white light, so the result still feels seasonal rather than like a standard promotion.

How should we store Ramadan decorations after Eid?

Wrap pieces in protective film, store them flat or upright in labelled boxes in a cool, dry place, and coil cables neatly. Keep lit pieces away from moisture and heat. Modular and flat-pack designs take far less space and are much easier to reinstall the following year.

Do you install Ramadan signage across the UAE?

Yes. We install across all seven emirates from our factory in Ajman, including night installations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi malls. The site survey is free in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman. We can also take the set down after Eid and reinstall it next season.
