Window sale stickers that go up on time and come off clean

Window sale stickers are the short-life layer of a shopfront: sale percentages, new collection launches, seasonal offers, opening announcements and festival messages printed on removable film. They go up for days or weeks, sit on top of the permanent branding, and are used by fashion, electronics, furniture and supermarket retailers in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman around Ramadan and Eid, back to school, National Day, the late-November sales and the big shopping festivals.

The job is really three jobs: get the message read by people walking or driving past, get it printed and fitted on the right date in every branch, and get it off again without scraping. Most failures we see come from the third. Permanent vinyl used for a two-week sale bakes onto sunny glass and leaves residue, and removable adhesive left up through a summer bonds far harder than its data sheet suggests. We choose the film for the campaign length and the glass, not the cheapest roll.

Bayan Signage has printed in its Ajman factory since 2016 as the production arm of Bayan Advertising, which has 15 years in the UAE market. Large-format printing, laminating, cutting and packing happen under one roof, and our installation crews work outside trading hours across all seven emirates, so a chain roll-out does not depend on a subcontractor's calendar. More than 500 clients, including national retail groups, many of them repeat customers, trust us with campaign dates that cannot move.

Our process

How we print and roll out window sale stickers

  1. Campaign brief and calendar

We agree the launch date, the removal date, the branches involved and any mall approval deadlines, then work back to set artwork, printing and installation dates.

  2. Window measurements per branch

Every store's panes are measured or checked from your store drawings, because units of the same brand are rarely identical. The survey is free in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman.

  3. Artwork versions per window size

Our designers adapt the master design to each window size, starting with the smallest, so no store gets a stretched or cropped offer, and keep the date on a separate strip.

  4. Printing and finishing

Removable vinyl and static cling are printed on our large-format UV or solvent printers, cut to shape and checked against the approved artwork for colour and size.

  5. Kitting and labelling

Each branch's graphics are packed as a kit, labelled by store and pane, with a numbered layout sheet so our crew or your staff fit them identically everywhere.

  6. After-hours fit, photos and removal

We fit outside trading hours, photograph every finished window for your sign-off, and return on the agreed date to peel the campaign and clean the glass.

Specification

Window sale sticker specification: films by campaign length

Campaign length and sun exposure decide the film. This is our default choice and when we change it.

Expert advice

Advice from our campaign team

Campaign graphics are judged in two or three seconds and removed when the offer ends. These are the rules that make both go well.

Write for two seconds at walking pace

A shopper passing a mall unit glances at the window for two or three seconds from 3 to 6 m away. That leaves room for one headline, one number and perhaps a date. A headline of 300 mm or more and an offer figure of 400 to 600 mm will be read; a paragraph of terms in 20 mm text will not. On a high street read from parked cars, roughly double those sizes.

Print the date and the percentage separately

Offers change more often than anyone plans: thirty percent becomes fifty, the sale gets extended, and Ramadan and Eid dates are confirmed late. If the date and figure sit on their own 100 to 200 mm strips, a change is a quick visit to swap a strip in each store. Reprinting full panels across a dozen branches before the morning opening is the kind of rush that produces mistakes.

Leave the shop looking open

A frontage wrapped edge to edge in sale graphics looks closed or under renovation. We usually keep promotional graphics to 30 to 50 percent of the glass, concentrated on the upper and side panes, and leave a clear band between about 1,000 and 1,600 mm so merchandise and staff are visible. Many landlords require a clear area anyway, and it usually sells better.

Respect the heat when choosing removable film

Removable adhesive behaves as specified at moderate temperatures. Shopfront glass in direct summer sun gets far hotter, and the bond builds up week by week. Static cling is excellent inside the glass or in shaded malls but can slide off hot exterior panes. Take graphics down on schedule; a sale sticker left up through August can take hours to remove.

Design to the smallest window first

Stretching one file to fit every branch distorts the design and often crops the offer. We start with the smallest window in the roll-out, make sure the message works there, then scale up for larger stores. Each window size gets its own checked version and cutting file, and every kit is labelled by store and pane so nothing ends up in the wrong mall.

Pricing

Window sale sticker price in Dubai: what affects the cost

Campaign graphics are quoted per roll-out. Send us the artwork or brief, the list of branches with window sizes or photos, and the launch and removal dates, and we return an itemised quote, usually within 24 hours.

Total printed area

Removable vinyl and static cling are priced by area, so full-pane covers cost much more than a headline and a strip. Fewer, bolder panels often work better and cost less.

Number of stores and window sizes

Printing many kits is efficient, but each different window size needs its own artwork version and cutting file, which adds design and prepress time.

Film type

Static cling and printed clear vinyl with white ink cost a little more than standard removable vinyl, and contour-cut shapes add cutting and weeding time.

Turnaround

Campaigns planned weeks ahead are straightforward. Changes the day before launch may need overtime printing and same-night installation crews.

Installation and removal visits

Malls usually allow work only before opening or after closing, and each store needs one visit to fit and one to remove.

Spare strips and reprints

Printing spare offer and date strips with the first run costs little and saves an urgent reprint when the offer changes.

Approvals

Window sale stickers: mall rules and promotion permits

Many malls set rules for campaign graphics, including how much glass may be covered, approved colours, and how long promotional graphics may stay up, and some coordinate dates for major sales. Street-facing promotional graphics may also count as advertising that needs municipality approval in Dubai, Sharjah or Ajman. We submit artwork to the landlord in advance and confirm the current requirement for each site in the roll-out.

In Dubai, a sale or discount campaign itself usually needs a promotion permit from the Department of Economy and Tourism, which the retailer applies for, and other emirates have their own equivalents. Check whether your permit reference or permitted dates need to appear on the graphics, and tell us before artwork is finalised. We leave space for it on the date strip so it can change without reprinting the headline.

Why Bayan Signage

Why businesses choose Bayan Signage for window sale stickers

Printed in our own factory

Large-format UV and solvent printing up to 3.2 m wide, cutting and packing all happen in Ajman, so your launch date does not depend on an outside printer.

Roll-outs kitted by store

Every branch gets a kit labelled by window and pane with a layout sheet, so each store opens with the same campaign.

After-hours crews across the UAE

We fit before opening or after closing in malls and high streets across all seven emirates, and photograph every window for sign-off.

The right removable film

We match film to campaign length and sun exposure, so graphics hold for the sale and peel cleanly when it ends.

Removal included in the plan

Removal dates are booked with installation, so sale graphics come down on time instead of baking onto the glass.

Trusted by retail groups

More than 500 clients across the UAE, including national retail groups and international brands, many of whom return for every season's campaign.

FAQ

Promotional Window Graphics questions we are asked most

How much do window sale stickers cost in Dubai?

It depends on the printed area, the film, the number of stores and window sizes, and the installation and removal visits. A headline and offer strip on one shop is modest; a full-pane campaign across twenty mall branches is a larger job. Send us the brief, branch list and dates for an itemised quote, usually within 24 hours.

What is the best sticker for a window sale?

For a short sale, removable printed vinyl or static cling is usually best. Both carry bright full-colour artwork and come off without scraping. Removable vinyl holds better on exterior glass in heat; static cling has no adhesive and can be reused, but suits inside or shaded glass. Avoid permanent vinyl for short campaigns.

How fast can you print and fit a sale campaign?

We give you a realistic schedule with the quote, based on the number of windows, the artwork versions and the mall's access rules. Multi-branch roll-outs need extra time for versioning, kitting and after-hours scheduling. If the date is fixed, give us the branch list early and we will plan printing and crews backwards from the launch.

Will removable window stickers leave residue?

Not if they come down within the film's rated period. Removable adhesive builds its bond with heat and time, so a sticker left up through a summer on sunny glass can leave residue. We book removal at the same time as installation and clean the glass after peeling.

Can you fit window graphics at night in malls?

Yes. Most of our mall campaign work is fitted before opening or after closing, following each mall's work-permit process. For roll-outs we split crews by area so several malls are done the same night and every store opens with the campaign in place.

Do you print sale graphics in Arabic and English?

Yes. Many campaigns carry prices, percentages and dates in both languages. We set the Arabic with equal care, check that numerals and dates match in each language, and have the Arabic reviewed before anything is printed.

Should I use static cling or removable vinyl?

Use static cling for short campaigns on the inside of the glass or in shaded mall units, where it can be removed and stored for reuse. Use removable vinyl on exterior glass in direct sun, where cling can slide as the glass heats up. For a full-pane cover that keeps the view out, use one-way vision film.

Do you cover branches outside Dubai?

Yes. We print in Ajman and fit across Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Abu Dhabi and the other emirates, often on the same night. The site survey is free in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman, and for roll-outs we can work from your store drawings.
