X Banner Stand Printing in Dubai, Sharjah & Ajman

Bayan Signage prints X banner stand graphics in its Ajman factory and supplies the frames to go with them, for clinics, shops, restaurants, universities and events. We check every graphic against the frame's hook-to-hook size, reinforce the corners that carry the tension and ship it ready to clip on, so a campaign change takes a minute instead of a new stand.

X-Banner Stands in the UAE

X banner stand graphics, printed and fitted to your frame

An X banner stand is the lightest freestanding banner there is: crossed fibreglass or aluminium rods behind a printed graphic, hooked into eyelets at its four corners so the tension pulls it flat. The whole kit weighs around 1 to 2 kg and folds into a slim bag. Clinics, phone shops, restaurants, pharmacies, universities and promoters in Dubai use it for short campaigns and messages that change often, where paying for new hardware each time makes no sense.

Because there is no cassette or spring, everything depends on the graphic. It must match the frame's hook spacing within a few millimetres, lie flat in air conditioning and survive dozens of set-ups at the corners. Frames sold as the same size vary between makers, so we measure your frame or the one we supply before printing, choose a film that will not curl, and reinforce each corner eyelet so it does not tear on the tenth campaign.

Bayan Signage prints in its own Ajman factory, established in 2016 as the production arm of Bayan Advertising, which has 15 years in the UAE market. We print X banner stand graphics alongside the permanent shopfront and interior signs for many of our 500+ clients, which means we usually already have your brand colours, logo files and Arabic name on record, checked against your trade licence.

Our process

How we print an X banner stand graphic in Ajman

  1. Frame measurement

We measure your frame hook to hook, or use the frame we will supply. A graphic 20 mm too long sags, and one 20 mm too short strains its eyelets, so this check comes before any artwork.

  2. Layout for eye level

Our designers put the brand and headline in the top third, at about 1.2 to 1.8 m on a 180 cm stand, keep text 50 mm clear of the corners and use the low section for imagery or contact details.

  3. Printing on flat film

Graphics are printed on our large-format machines onto PP or PET film for a flat, crisp indoor finish, or light PVC flex for stands that will be folded and carried a lot.

  4. Corner reinforcement

Each corner gets a clear patch and a metal eyelet set at the frame's exact hook positions. All the tension in the stand passes through these four points, so we never punch them through unreinforced film.

  5. Fit test and inspection

Before packing, the graphic is clipped onto a frame of the same type and checked for flatness, colour and spelling against the approved proof, then rolled loosely, print side out.

  6. Delivery or collection

Stands are delivered in their bags, labelled by branch or location when there are many, or collected from our Ajman factory during working hours, Sunday to Thursday.

Expert advice

Advice from our print and display team

X banners are cheap and quick, which is exactly why small mistakes are common. These are the points we raise before printing.

Measure the frame, ignore the bag

A frame sold as 80 x 180 cm can measure 790 or 810 mm between hooks depending on the maker. The difference looks tiny on paper and very visible on the floor: a slack graphic with diagonal ripples or a tight one that tears its corners. Bring one frame in or send a photo with a tape measure across the hooks, and we print to that.

Put it against a wall

From behind, the rods and hub are visible, so an X banner in the middle of a showroom shows its skeleton to half your visitors. Place it against a wall, column or counter end where people see only the printed face. For mid-floor positions, a roll-up or a double-sided stand looks far more finished.

Use opaque film in front of glass

In a glass-fronted clinic lobby or shop, daylight behind a thin film shows the cross of the frame through the print and washes out pale colours. Opaque blockout film costs slightly more and solves both problems. If the stand will always face away from a window, standard film is fine.

Keep key text above the waist

On a 180 cm stand, the bottom 40 to 50 cm sits near the floor and below the eye line of someone walking past. Text placed there is effectively invisible. Keep the headline at 60 to 80 mm cap height in the top third, put a QR code at chest height and use the lower section for colour or a simple image.

Keep the frames, change the prints

The real saving with X banners comes from reuse. Clients who keep a set of frames in each branch and order only new graphics each season spend far less over a year than those who buy full kits each time. Store graphics rolled, never folded, and keep frames in their bags so rod sections do not go missing.

Pricing

X banner stand price in Dubai: what affects the cost

We quote X banners per graphic and per frame. Send the size, quantity, whether you need frames and your artwork, and you will usually have an itemised quote within 24 hours.

Graphic size

Larger graphics use more media and print time and need stronger frames. Most clients choose 60 x 160 or 80 x 180 cm as the balance of cost and impact.

Media type

Standard PP film is the most economical. PET, opaque blockout film and PVC flex cost more but look better in bright interiors or survive more handling.

Frame quality

Basic frames are inexpensive but often have fragile plastic hubs. Stronger rods and metal hubs cost more and last through many more set-ups.

Quantity and versions

Several stands with one design are efficient. Different designs for each branch add artwork and proofing time, though they are still quick to produce.

Graphics only

Reusing your own frames means later orders are graphics only, which keeps the running cost of regular campaign changes low.

Approvals

Mall and content rules for X banner stands

An X banner stand inside your own premises does not usually need a municipality permit. Malls are different: most tenant design criteria restrict freestanding signs beyond the shop line, in common corridors or near escalators, and some require approval of any promotional display visible from the mall. Check your tenancy guidelines before placing stands outside your unit, and we can work to the size limits they set.

Content can need approval too. Clinics and pharmacies promoting medical services or products in Dubai and Abu Dhabi may need the relevant health authority's advertising approval before display, and some free zones and landlords review promotional wording. We prepare the artwork for those submissions with Arabic and English checked, and we confirm what applies to your location before printing.

Why Bayan Signage

Why businesses choose Bayan Signage for X banner stand printing

Printed in our own factory

Graphics are printed on our large-format machines in Ajman, so a reprint for a new campaign is a short job, not a new order through a broker.

Fitted to your exact frame

We measure frames hook to hook before printing, which removes the sagging and torn corners that come from printing to the size on the bag.

Brand files on record

For returning clients we already hold logos, colours and the Arabic trade name, so artwork for a new stand often needs only the new offer.

Honest product advice

If an X banner will fall over at your entrance or look cheap on your reception, we tell you and quote a roll-up, pop up stand or A-frame instead.

Branch roll-outs handled

Batches for multiple branches are printed, labelled per location and delivered across the UAE, with one project manager as your contact.

Clear, itemised quotes

Graphics, frames, design time and delivery are listed separately, usually within 24 hours, so you can choose graphics only when you already own frames.

FAQ

X-Banner Stands questions we are asked most

How much does an X banner stand cost in Dubai?

The cost depends on size, media, frame quality and quantity, and whether you need frames at all. A replacement graphic for a frame you already own costs much less than a full kit. Send us the size, quantity and artwork, and we will send an itemised quote, usually within 24 hours.

What is the difference between an X banner and a roll-up banner?

An X banner uses crossed rods to hold the graphic by its corners, while a roll-up stores the graphic in a sprung base and pulls it up on a pole. X banners are lighter, cheaper and quick to change. Roll-ups look neater from every angle, stand more steadily and protect the print inside the cassette when packed away.

What size X banner stand should I choose?

60 x 160 cm suits counters, clinic receptions and small shops. 80 x 180 cm is the usual choice for entrances and events, where the stand must be seen from a few metres away. Larger 120 x 200 cm stands exist but need stronger frames and more floor space. Check what will be behind the stand before choosing.

Can an X banner be used outdoors?

Only briefly and in very calm, sheltered conditions. X banners are light and act like a sail, so even a mild breeze can knock them over, and heat can soften plastic hubs. For pavements, forecourts and outdoor events, a weighted A-frame or sidewalk sign is far safer.

Can you print a new graphic for my existing frame?

Yes, that is the main advantage of the format. Send us the exact hook-to-hook dimensions or bring a frame to our Ajman factory, and we print a graphic that fits it. Many clients keep frames in each branch and change only the prints each season.

How quickly can X banner stands be produced?

The programme is confirmed with your quote, because it depends on quantity, the print material and how many designs need checking. Larger batches for several branches or open days need each artwork proofed separately, so tell us your launch or event date when you ask for the quote and we will plan production to meet it.

Can the graphic include Arabic and English?

Yes. On a narrow stand we usually stack the Arabic and English headlines with balanced sizes, or produce two stands, one in each language, for busy public areas such as hospitals and government service centres. Our draftsmen check the Arabic against your trade licence where your business name appears.
