Desk & Counter Signs in the UAECounter signs built for daily handling
Counter signs are the small signs that sit on, or face out from, a reception desk, service counter or till: the QR code for payment or feedback, the counter number in a service hall, a solid acrylic block with the company logo, or the logo fixed to the desk front itself. They are read from half a metre to a few metres away and touched constantly by staff and customers, which makes them some of the hardest-working signs in a building. Banks, clinics, government service centres, hotels and retail chains use them at every branch.
That handling separates a good counter sign from a cheap one. A thin A4 stand blows over each time the door opens, its edges chip on keys and bags, and its print rubs off within months. A heavier base, polished edges, rounded corners and graphics printed on the back make the same sign look new for years. In our Ajman factory we cut acrylic on CNC routers to ±0.1 mm, flame or diamond polish the edges, and reverse-print with UV inks so the face can be wiped without touching the artwork.
Bayan Signage has fabricated signage in Ajman since 2016 as the production arm of Bayan Advertising, which has 15 years in the UAE market. Counter signs are often part of a multi-branch rollout, and with more than 500 clients across the UAE, including national retail groups, we are used to producing identical sets for dozens of counters, packing each one individually and delivering them branch by branch across the seven emirates.
