FAQOffice Name Signs questions we are asked most
How much does an office name sign cost in Dubai?
It depends on the type, size, material and fixing surface. A printed acrylic plaque on stand-offs is the most economical choice, while brushed stainless letters or a layered acrylic logo cost more. Several signs ordered together cost less each. Send us your logo, a photo of the entrance and any tenant criteria, and we will send an itemised quote, usually within 24 hours.
How quickly can you make an office name sign?
The programme is confirmed with your quote, because it depends on the sign type, the quantity and how quickly building management approves the drawing. That approval is often the longest step, so we prepare the drawing early and submit it while the artwork is being finalised. We give you a realistic schedule with the quote, and installation itself is a short, tidy visit.
Does my office name sign need approval from the building?
In most towers and free zones, yes. Building management usually checks size, position, materials and wording against its tenant criteria, and many ask for a drawing before installation. A municipality permit is not usually needed for a sign inside a corridor. We prepare the drawing and confirm the current requirement for your building.
What is better for an office entrance: acrylic or metal?
Acrylic plaques carry full-colour logos, look clean and cost less. Brushed stainless or aluminium letters look more formal and suit law, finance and engineering firms, but they show only the shape of the logo, not its colours. If your brand colour matters, acrylic is usually the better choice; if permanence matters more, metal.
Can you put our office name on a glass door?
Yes. We cut or print vinyl for glass fronts and doors, usually frosted or with a white backer so it reads against a bright interior. Placing the logo inside the manifestation band means the same graphic marks the glass for safety. We fit it on site after the glass has been cleaned.
Should the sign include Arabic?
It depends on the building and your business. Many towers do not require Arabic on internal suite signs, but government-facing companies and clinics often include it, and some free zones expect it. When we add Arabic, we set it as its own line at a matching visual size and check it against your trade licence.
Can you change the sign when our company name changes?
On signs we made, usually only the face needs replacing. Stand-off plaques come off their caps, so a new printed face can be fitted to the same holes. Metal letters we installed can be removed and the wall made good. We keep the artwork and drawings for every sign we make, which makes reorders and changes quick.
