Stainless Steel Wall Logos in the UAE

Stainless steel wall logos, cut and finished in-house

A stainless steel wall logo is your brand mark made in solid metal and fixed to a reception or feature wall, usually without any lighting. It is the default choice for law firms, banks, engineering consultancies, real estate offices and clinics across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, because it looks permanent, survives daily cleaning and constant air conditioning, and needs no power point or driver. Inside a conditioned building, grade 304 is our standard; we keep 316 for open-air lobbies and covered entrances that catch salt air.

Most of the quality in a metal logo is decided before polishing starts. A 3 mm logo stretched to 1.2 m wide looks thin from the side. Dross left on a laser-cut edge shows as a dark line under downlights. Studs welded too hot on thin plate shadow through the face. We cut on our own laser cutters at Alam Square, Industrial Area 2, Ajman, dress every edge by hand and choose bonded or welded studs by plate thickness, so none of those decisions leave our building.

Bayan Signage has run its Ajman factory since 2016 as the production arm of Bayan Advertising, which has worked in the UAE for 15 years. Reception logos are a large part of our indoor work for more than 500 clients, from single-suite start-ups to national retail groups fitting out head offices. Our draftsmen produce the wall template and fixing drawing, our metal specialists cut and finish the steel, and our installers fix the logo, usually in a few hours and often outside office hours.

Our process

How we make a stainless steel wall logo in our Ajman factory

  1. Wall survey

We check what the wall is made of, how flat it is and what lies behind it, including gypsum studs, stone thickness and hidden cables. The survey is free in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman.

  2. Artwork check at full size

Designers scale your vector logo to the wall, test thin strokes and small Arabic dots against the plate thickness, and print a full-size paper template you can tape up and approve on site.

  3. Laser cutting and folding

Flat-cut parts are laser-cut from 304 or 316 plate. For built-up letters, faces are cut from sheet and returns folded to the outline. Edges are dressed so no burr or discolouration shows.

  4. Brushing, polishing and studs

Faces are brushed in one direction across the whole logo, or polished to a mirror. Studs are bonded on thin plate and welded on thicker parts, so nothing shadows through the finish.

  5. Inspection against artwork

Every letter is laid on the approved template and checked for size, spacing, grain direction and surface marks. Protective film stays on until the logo is on the wall.

  6. Installation

Our crew drills through the paper template, sets studs in resin or suitable anchors, fits the spacers and levels the logo. Most reception logos are fixed in a few hours, often after office hours.

Expert advice

Advice from our metal fabrication team

These are the points we raise most often when a reception logo brief reaches our workshop. Each one is cheap to settle on paper and expensive to fix on the wall.

Match thickness to size

As a rough guide, 3 mm plate suits logos under 300 mm wide, 5 to 6 mm suits 300 to 900 mm, and 8 to 10 mm suits anything wider. Below that ratio a large logo reads like a sticker from the side; above it, cost and weight climb with no visible gain. For logos over about 1.5 m we usually switch to built-up letters, which give the same depth at a fraction of the weight.

Mirror finish has a catch

Mirror stainless looks wonderful in a render and difficult in real life. It reflects the downlights, the glass entrance and everyone walking past, and on a glossy or mirrored wall it can almost vanish. It also shows every scratch at bag height. We recommend mirror for logos above head height or on matt walls, and hairline brushed for anything people can touch.

Check the wall before choosing the logo

Gypsum partitions are hollow, and 10 mm steel plate weighs roughly 80 kg per square metre of solid area, so a heavy flat-cut logo needs timber or metal backing installed before the board is closed. Natural stone needs diamond drilling and resin anchors; glass needs bonded fixings. If you are still in fit-out, tell us now: backing costs almost nothing before painting and a lot after.

Approve coloured steel on a sample

Gold, rose gold and champagne stainless vary between sheets and look different under warm and cool lighting. We cut a small sample from the chosen sheet so you can hold it against your wall, under your own lights, before the full logo is cut. It is the only reliable way to avoid a gold that reads as brassy yellow against beige marble.

Keep fine details realistic

Very thin parts in stainless bend during handling and are hard to keep flat on the wall. We aim for a minimum stroke of about 3 mm on flat-cut logos and 8 to 10 mm on built-up letters. Thin taglines, registered marks and small Arabic dots are often better cut as slightly bolder parts, or printed on a panel behind the steel.

Pricing

Stainless steel wall logo price in Dubai: what affects the cost

Every logo is quoted from its artwork and its wall, so there is no fixed price list. Send your vector logo, the wall width and a photo, and we usually return an itemised quote within 24 hours, with steel, finish and installation listed separately.

Logo size and solid area

Material is priced on the steel actually used, so a heavy block logo costs more than an open wordmark of the same overall width.

Plate thickness or letter depth

Moving from 6 mm to 10 mm plate adds material and cutting time without always changing how the logo reads from the door.

Finish

Hairline brushed is the baseline. Mirror polishing is slow hand work, and coloured PVD sheet costs more than plain stainless.

Fine detail

Small text, thin strokes and Arabic dots need slower cutting, more careful dressing and extra handling to keep them flat.

Wall type

Stone, glass and hollow partitions each need different anchors, drilling methods or backing, which changes installation time.

Access and timing

Double-height lobbies need a tower, and occupied offices often want the work done in the evening or at the weekend.

Approvals

Landlord and fit-out approvals for reception logos

An indoor reception logo does not normally need a municipality permit, but it is rarely free of rules. Office towers and free-zone buildings in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah usually ask tenants for a drawing and a method statement before any drilling, and many limit noisy work to evenings or weekends. Where the logo sits in a shared lobby rather than inside your suite, the landlord may also control its size and finish.

Our draftsmen prepare the elevation, fixing detail and material description for building management, and we book the installation to suit their permit-to-work process. If the logo is part of a wider fit-out, we coordinate with your fit-out contractor so backing goes in the right place. Requirements differ from building to building, so we confirm them for your address before production starts.

Why Bayan Signage

Why businesses choose Bayan Signage for stainless steel wall logos

Cut and finished in-house

Laser cutting, folding, brushing, polishing and stud fixing all happen in our Ajman factory, not at a subcontractor. You are welcome to visit and see your logo before it leaves.

Built for your actual wall

We survey the wall and choose anchors and backing for gypsum, block, stone or glass, so the logo stays level and secure for the life of the office.

Full-size template first

You approve a paper template on the wall before any steel is cut, so size and position are settled where they matter, not on a screen.

One team, start to finish

One project manager, with designers, metal specialists and installers working together, and the crew that made the logo fixing it to your wall.

Itemised quotes

Steel, finish, fixings and installation are priced separately, usually within 24 hours, so you can compare finishes and thicknesses line by line.

More than 500 clients, from new suites to national retail groups and international brands, with most of our work coming from returning clients and referrals.

FAQ

Stainless Steel Wall Logos questions we are asked most

How much does a stainless steel wall logo cost in Dubai?

The price depends on the logo size and solid area, the plate thickness or letter depth, the finish and the wall it goes on. A 600 mm brushed flat-cut logo on painted blockwork costs far less than a 2 m gold built-up logo in a double-height lobby. Send us your vector logo, the wall width and a photo, and we will send an itemised quote, usually within 24 hours.

Should I choose 304 or 316 stainless steel for an indoor logo?

For almost every indoor reception, 304 is the right grade, even in coastal areas such as Dubai Marina, JBR or Al Khan in Sharjah. Inside an air-conditioned building it keeps its finish for decades. We specify 316 for open-air lobbies, covered entrances, pool decks and anywhere salt air and humidity reach the metal directly.

How long does it take to make and install a stainless logo?

We give you a realistic schedule with the quote, counted from artwork approval. Coloured stainless and large built-up logos need more time, depending on sheet availability. Installation itself is usually a short visit, although many towers require a permit to work and ask for the job to be booked outside office hours.

Flat-cut or built-up letters: which is better for a reception?

Flat-cut suits small and medium logos and fine detail: it is solid plate, crisp and economical. Built-up letters are hollow with folded returns, so they can be 30 or 50 mm deep without the weight of solid steel, which makes them better for large wordmarks and double-height walls. Many logos combine both, with built-up letters beside a flat-cut symbol.

Can a stainless steel logo be illuminated?

Yes. Built-up stainless letters can be halo-lit, with LED modules behind a solid face throwing light onto the wall. That needs a power point and a place for the driver, ideally planned before the wall is finished. Our backlit reception signs page explains the lit options in more detail.

Can you make the logo in Arabic and English?

Yes, and many of our reception logos are bilingual. We size the Arabic as its own design so it balances the English, and we check small dots and joins against the plate thickness, since parts that are too thin are fragile in steel. We also check the spelling against your trade licence before cutting.

How do I clean a stainless steel wall logo?

Wipe it with a soft cloth and mild soapy water, following the direction of the brush lines, then dry it. Avoid bleach, chloride-based cleaners and scouring pads, which can mark the surface. Mirror and coloured finishes need only a damp microfibre cloth. Fingerprints are the usual complaint, which is why we suggest brushed finishes anywhere within reach.

Can you move our stainless steel wall logo when we change offices?

Usually, yes. Stud-fixed logos can be removed carefully, the old wall made good and the logo refitted at the new address using a fresh template. Some studs or spacers may need replacing. Our installation crews work across all seven emirates, and our sign removal and relocation service covers the whole move.
