Acrylic Display Stands and Brochure Holders in Dubai

Bayan Signage makes acrylic display stands, brochure holders, sign holders, product risers and display blocks for showrooms, clinics, banks, hotels and shops. We laser-cut and CNC-route cast acrylic in our Ajman factory, heat-bend and bond every piece by hand, brand it with UV print, reverse print or frosted vinyl, and keep the cutting files so your next branch matches the first.

Acrylic display stands and brochure holders, cut to fit

An acrylic display stand is a clear fitting that holds a leaflet, a price card or a product so that the item, not the holder, gets the attention. The family includes A4, A5 and DL brochure holders, L and T-shaped sign holders, tiered risers for shoes or cosmetics, solid display blocks and bonded cover boxes. Real estate offices, car showrooms, clinics, banks, hotels and retailers use them in quantity, on counters, desks, shelves and walls.

Clear acrylic is unforgiving. Every flaw shows: a cloudy laser edge, a white line along a badly bonded joint, a bubble in a rushed bend or a hairline crack next to a screw hole. Choosing cast rather than extruded sheet for anything bent or bonded, setting the right bend temperature and polishing edges properly are what make a holder look like glass instead of plastic. Those are the details our acrylic specialists check on every piece.

Bayan Signage has fabricated in acrylic at Alam Square, Industrial Area 2, Ajman since 2016, as the production arm of Bayan Advertising, which has 15 years in the UAE market. Laser cutters and CNC routers with ±0.1 mm tolerance cut every part, our UV printers add logos directly onto the acrylic, and each batch is checked against the approved sample before dispatch. We keep the files, so a reorder a year later is identical.

Our process

How we make an acrylic display stand in our Ajman factory

  1. Sample and brief

We start from the leaflet, card or product it must hold, plus where it will stand and how it will be cleaned. A real sample avoids pockets that are a few millimetres too tight.

  2. Drawing and approval sample

Our designers draw the holder with clearances, angles and branding, then we make one approval sample so you can test it with your actual leaflets or products.

  3. Laser cutting and routing

Parts are laser-cut for a glossy edge on thinner sheet, or CNC-routed to ±0.1 mm on thick blocks and then polished so the edges look clear rather than frosted.

  4. Heat bending and bonding

Fold lines are heated slowly and bent on a jig so every holder in the batch has the same angle. Pockets and boxes are bonded with clear solvent cement for bubble-free joints.

  5. Branding and inspection

Logos are UV-printed on the face, reverse-printed behind the sheet or applied in frosted vinyl. Each piece is checked for scratches, joint quality and branding against the approved sample, then the protective film is left on.

  6. Packing and delivery

Holders are individually wrapped and packed per branch, then delivered across the emirates. Wall-mounted pieces can be installed by our team on stand-offs or concealed fixings.

Expert advice

Advice from our acrylic workshop

Small acrylic pieces look simple, but most problems come from a handful of avoidable choices. Here is what our fabricators tell clients before an order is cut.

Start from the paper, not the holder

A4 is 210 x 297 mm, A5 is 148 x 210 mm and DL is 99 x 210 mm, and each holder needs a few millimetres of clearance on each side. Pocket depth should be about 15 to 30 mm, depending on how many leaflets it holds. A front lip of roughly one third of the leaflet height keeps the title visible while stopping the stack falling forward. Bring a sample leaflet and we will size it exactly.

Choose cast acrylic for anything bent or bonded

Extruded acrylic is cheaper and bends easily, but it carries internal stress that can show up as fine cracks near bends, holes and bonded joints, especially after contact with cleaning products. Cast acrylic laser-cuts to a cleaner edge, polishes better and stays clear for longer. For flat inserts the difference matters less; for anything folded, bonded or carrying a polished edge on show, we specify cast.

Tilt sign holders and widen their base

Counter sign holders read best tilted back by about 10 to 20 degrees for a standing customer. A tall, light holder also tips easily in air conditioning drafts or when a leaflet is pulled out. Our rule is a base at least half as deep as the holder is tall, or a heavier base plate. It looks almost the same and stays where it is put.

Keep spans short on risers

Acrylic is not a structural material. On 5 mm sheet, we keep unsupported spans below about 300 to 400 mm for light products, or add a folded front edge or an extra leg. A long riser loaded with shoes or bottles will sag slowly in a warm shop, and once it has bowed it does not recover.

Brief the cleaning team, not only the manager

Many cleaning teams use glass cleaner or alcohol sprays, which can craze acrylic, particularly at bends and joints. Paper towels leave fine scratches that dull a clear holder within weeks. A microfibre cloth with mild soapy water is all acrylic needs. We include a care card with every order; it works best taped inside the cleaning cupboard.

Pricing

Acrylic display stand price in Dubai: what affects the cost

We quote from a drawing or a sample, so there is no catalogue price. Send the leaflet or product size, a sketch or photo of what you want, the quantity and your logo, and we return an itemised quote, usually within 24 hours.

Quantity

Setting up the cutting file and jig is shared across the batch, so the price per holder falls as quantities rise from a few pieces to hundreds.

Sheet thickness and type

Thin clear sheet is economical. Thick blocks, coloured, frosted or mirror acrylic and cast sheet for large parts cost more.

Bends and bonded joints

Each bend and each bonded joint is hand work, so tiered pockets and boxes cost more than flat or single-bend holders.

Edge finish

Laser edges on thin sheet need no extra work. Thick parts need routing and polishing, which adds time per piece.

Branding

Simple UV print is quick. Reverse printing, frosted vinyl or multi-colour logos add a step for every piece.

Delivery and installation

Packing per branch, delivery across the emirates and wall installation on stand-offs are priced separately from the holders.

FAQ

Acrylic Product & Brochure Holders questions we are asked most

How much does an acrylic display stand cost in Dubai?

The cost depends on the quantity, the sheet type and thickness, the number of bends and joints, the edge finish and the branding. A batch of simple A4 holders costs far less per piece than a handful of bonded, reverse-printed display boxes. Send the size, a photo or sketch, the quantity and your logo, and we will send an itemised quote, usually within 24 hours.

What is the difference between cast and extruded acrylic?

Cast acrylic is made sheet by sheet, so it has less internal stress, cuts and polishes better and resists cracking at bends and joints. Extruded acrylic is cheaper and bends easily but can stress-crack, especially after contact with cleaning products. We use cast acrylic for anything bent or bonded.

Can you make brochure holders in custom sizes?

Yes. Besides A4, A5, A6 and DL, we make holders for square leaflets, booklets, business cards, menus and product samples. Bring a sample of what the holder must hold, and we will size the pocket, depth and front lip to it.

Can you add our logo to acrylic holders?

Yes. We can UV-print the logo in full colour, reverse-print it behind the sheet so it does not wear, or apply frosted vinyl for an etched look. Reverse printing suits holders that are handled a lot, because the ink sits behind the acrylic where cleaning cloths cannot reach it.

Is acrylic better than glass for display stands?

For holders and stands, usually yes. Acrylic is far lighter, safer if dropped and can be bent and bonded into shapes that glass cannot. Glass is harder and resists scratches better, so it suits fixed shelves and table tops. For anything handled, moved or knocked, acrylic is the practical choice.

How long does it take to make acrylic holders?

That depends on the design, the approval sample and the quantity, so we confirm a date with the quote. Simple holders in modest quantities move quickly once the sample is approved; bonded boxes, reverse-printed pieces and large batches take longer.

Can you match holders we bought elsewhere?

Usually, yes. Send us one existing holder, or clear photos with measurements, and we will draw a matching design. If the original was extruded acrylic, we may suggest cast sheet so the new holders last longer at the bends.

Do you deliver acrylic display stands outside Dubai?

Yes. We pack orders per branch in Ajman and deliver across all seven emirates, including Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. Our team can install wall-mounted pocket arrays and stand-off holders on site.
