Electrical and distribution board labels
Engraved traffolyte panel plates, circuit charts, isolator labels and electrical warning labels, matched to the single-line diagram and board schedule.
Best for DBs, MCCs and switch rooms
Engraved and printed labels, tags and nameplates for electrical, mechanical and fire systems, produced line by line from your consultant's label schedule and ready for handover.
Handover usually needs every distribution board, isolator, valve, pump, HVAC unit, fire alarm device and main pipe run labelled to the consultant's schedule. Warning labels go on electrical panels, and many clients now ask for QR or barcode asset tags that link each item to the CAFM system or asset register.
Equipment labels rarely get attention until the snag list arrives. Then a consultant rejects a plant room because valve tags are missing, board labels do not match the single-line diagram, or the asset numbers on site differ from the O&M manual. Each of those comments delays handover. Labels made from the approved schedule, in the right material for the room, avoid that loop.
We produce MEP and asset labels in our Ajman factory by laser and rotary engraving, laser cutting, CNC routing and UV printing. Materials include engraving laminate (traffolyte), aluminium, stainless steel, brass, acrylic and durable polyester film. We can work straight from your Excel label schedule, add serial numbers, barcodes or QR codes from your asset register, and pack the labels by floor and room so installation and inspection go quickly.
Engraved traffolyte panel plates, circuit charts, isolator labels and electrical warning labels, matched to the single-line diagram and board schedule.
Best for DBs, MCCs and switch rooms
Labels for AHUs, FCUs, chillers, pumps and plant room doors, showing the equipment code, service area and any hazard symbols.
Best for Mechanical plant rooms and rooftops
Labels for detectors, call points, panels, sounders and fire-fighting valves, numbered to match the fire alarm zone plan.
Best for Fire systems and Civil Defence inspections
Engraved laminate or stainless tags, or printed and laminated aluminium, hung on valves with chains, and pipe markers showing contents and flow direction for water, chilled water and other utilities.
Best for Plumbing, chilled water and utility lines
Engraved stainless, brass, aluminium or acrylic plates with the model, rating, serial number or asset code, riveted or screwed to machinery and control panels.
Best for Manufacturers, panel builders and factories
Tamper-evident aluminium or polyester tags carrying a unique asset code, used to scan items into CAFM, maintenance or inventory systems.
Best for Facilities management and asset registers
| Material | Marking method | Where it performs well | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Anodised aluminium | Engraved, or printed then laminated | Heat, UV and handling | Asset tags, valve tags, nameplates |
| Stainless steel 316 | Engraved and paint-filled, or laser-cut | Coastal, wet and outdoor plant | Valve tags, serial plates, rooftop equipment |
| Engraved two-ply laminate (traffolyte) | Laser or rotary engraved through the top colour | Indoor switch and control rooms | DB and panel labels |
| Acrylic plate | Reverse printed, CNC or laser cut | Clean, dry indoor areas | Identification plates and room signs |
| Polyester or vinyl film | Thermal transfer or UV print, laminated | Curved or small surfaces | Cable labels, barcodes, warning labels |
| Pipe marker bands | Printed vinyl with arrows | Pipe runs indoors and in risers | Pipeline and utility identification |
Use the label schedule and specification issued by the consultant, not a site list. It sets text, size, colour, material and fixing, and approval is far easier when every label matches it.
Board names, valve numbers and asset codes must match the as-built drawings and the O&M manual exactly. A single mismatch can send a whole room back to the snag list.
A switch room is clean and dry, while a rooftop chiller sees sun, rain and salt. Use metal tags or sealed aluminium outdoors, and save adhesive film labels for protected surfaces.
If the FM team uses CAFM software, get the asset numbering format and barcode or QR type before production. Codes printed in the wrong format cannot be scanned into the register.
Adhesive labels can fail on hot, oily or painted surfaces. Rivets, screws, cable ties and chains last longer, especially on equipment that vibrates or gets cleaned often.
Rooftop units and unventilated plant rooms can get far hotter than the outside air in summer. We use metal tags and heat-rated adhesives, and avoid film labels that curl or fade in strong sun.
Fire alarm and fire-fighting equipment labels are typically checked during Dubai Civil Defence or local civil defence inspections. We label to your fire consultant's specification and confirm the current requirement for your site.
Electrical and hazard warning labels usually use ISO 7010 pictograms with Arabic and English text. We follow the symbols and wording in your specification.
Coastal sites and cooling towers expose labels to salt and moisture. Stainless steel 316 tags and stainless fixings resist corrosion better than mild steel or uncoated aluminium.
We review your label schedule, specification and drawings, and flag missing text, duplicate codes or unclear materials.
We make one sample of each label type for the consultant or client to approve before full production.
Text, serial numbers and QR or barcode data are imported from your file and marked onto each label.
Labels are sorted and packed by floor, room and system, with a printed list for each bag.
Our team or yours fixes the labels, and we return a completed schedule for the O&M and handover file.
Yes. Send us the schedule and we import the text, codes and serial numbers straight into production, which avoids retyping errors. We check for duplicates and blank cells first and raise any questions. Each label is then made, checked against the schedule and packed by location, so your team can fix them in order.
QR code and barcode asset labels give each piece of equipment a unique code that technicians scan with a phone or reader. The scan links to the item's record in a CAFM, maintenance or inventory system, showing service history and documents. We print codes in the format your software expects, on durable aluminium or polyester tags.
Stainless steel and anodised aluminium are the most common choices for valve tags. Stainless steel 316 suits wet, outdoor and coastal areas, while aluminium is lighter and works well indoors. Tags are usually engraved, printed and laminated, or laser-cut, then attached with stainless chains or cable ties so they stay readable for the life of the system.
Yes. We produce distribution board labels, circuit charts, isolator labels and electrical warning labels with ISO 7010 symbols and Arabic and English text. Board labels are matched to the single-line diagram. For panel labels we use engraved traffolyte, UV-printed laminate or acrylic, colour coded to your schedule.
Adhesive labels last well on clean, smooth indoor surfaces, but can fail on hot rooftop units, oily motors or textured paint. For those locations we suggest riveted or screwed metal tags, or industrial adhesive with a protective laminate. Telling us where each label goes lets us pick the right material and fixing.
Cost depends on the number of labels, the material, size, marking method and whether each carries unique data such as serial numbers or QR codes. Metal tags cost more than film labels, and installation adds labour if we fix them. Send us your label schedule and we will quote, usually within 24 hours.
