Neon event signs are seen for a few hours and photographed thousands of times. They are LED neon flex on 5 to 8 mm acrylic, carrying short wording such as a couple's names, a hashtag, a brand line or a phrase for the night, usually 600 mm to 1.5 m wide. Wedding planners, florists, event agencies, hotels and marketing teams use them on stages, flower walls, photo corners, mall activations and exhibition stands, where light stands out against fabric and flowers in a way vinyl lettering never does.
An event piece is built differently from a sign that stays on a wall for ten years. It has to be light enough for a florist's frame, quick to hang, dimmable so faces stay properly exposed in photos, and free of the flicker that cheap dimmers show on video. It also has to be packed so it arrives without a cracked panel. Our designers plan the size from the camera position, and our electricians test the dimmer under phone cameras before the sign is cased.

The acrylic is CNC-cut with hanging points drilled, the flex is bent and fixed into grooves, and our electricians wire the dimmer or battery pack with a long low-voltage lead.
Each piece is lit at several brightness levels and checked on phone cameras for flicker and blown-out letters, then checked against the approved proof and packed in its case.
Our crew hangs the sign or sets it on its stand, levels it from the main camera position, hides the cable behind the backdrop and sets the brightness with the photographer.
After the event we take the sign down and return it to its case. Pieces meant for reuse go back to you ready for the next event, with spare ties and fixings.

Event neon goes wrong in predictable ways: too small in the photos, too bright for the camera, or too heavy for the frame. These rules avoid all three.
Guests usually stand 1 to 2 m in front of a backdrop, and the sign should sit above their heads and fully in frame. For a typical 2.4 to 3 m wide flower wall, a sign 900 mm to 1.2 m wide with its lower edge 1.9 to 2.1 m from the floor fits a portrait shot and clears most heads. A stage piece read from 15 to 25 m across a ballroom needs letters of 250 mm or more.
At full brightness, neon turns into white blobs on phone cameras and makes faces look dark beside it. For photographs, around 40 to 60 per cent brightness usually balances the letters with the subject. If the event is filmed or streamed, ask for a high-frequency dimmer, ideally above 1,000 Hz, because cheap dimmers can show rolling bands on video even when they look fine to the eye.
Flower wall grids and pipe-and-drape frames are built for flowers and fabric, not for a heavy panel. We keep event backings at 5 mm where the size allows, place four or more hanging points so the load spreads, and ask the florist or rigger to confirm the frame before the day. A 1.5 m piece in 10 mm acrylic is a very different load from the same piece in 5 mm.
Sockets in ballrooms are rarely where the photo corner ends up. A long low-voltage lead lets the adapter hide behind the backdrop, and a battery pack gives several hours of light in the middle of a room or a desert camp, though run time drops at high brightness. Tape every cable on the floor; a guest's heel is the commonest cause of a dark sign halfway through the night.
Hotels and exhibition centres usually restrict drilling, adhesives, hanging loads above guests and set-up hours, and some ask for product details before approving anything. Sending us the venue's rules with the brief lets us design fixings that will be allowed, rather than discovering at 6 p.m. that the planned hanging method is not.

Indoor event signs rarely need a municipality permit, but venues have their own rules. Hotels, exhibition centres and malls usually control hanging loads, cabling, materials and set-up hours, and some ask for drawings or product details before they allow anything over a stage or above guests. We work to the venue's requirements and supply the documents they request.
Outdoor public activations are different. A pop-up in a public space, a beach event or a large structure may need approval from the municipality, the event authority or the free-zone or master developer for the area. The organiser normally holds those approvals, and we provide drawings and specifications for the application. Requirements vary, so we confirm what applies to your venue.
