Neon Open Signs in the UAENeon open signs that do one job well
A neon open sign tells someone walking or driving past that you are trading right now. It is usually one word, sometimes with a border or a second line such as OPEN 24 HOURS, made in LED neon flex on a clear or black acrylic panel. It hangs on cords just behind the shop window or stands on the display shelf, plugs into a normal socket through a 12 V adapter and typically draws 10 to 25 W, so running it from morning to midnight costs very little.
Most failures we see on imported signs happen in the same three places: a weak adapter that cooks in a hot window, a cable that pulls out of the panel, and suction cups that soften in summer and drop the sign on the floor. Our version uses an adapter sized with headroom, a strain-relieved cable entry and drilled hanging points. We also size the lettering for UAE tinted glass, which can swallow more than half the light of a small, dim sign at midday.
Bayan Signage has fabricated signs at its own factory in Alam Square, Industrial Area 2, Ajman, since 2016, as the production arm of Bayan Advertising, which has worked in the UAE for 15 years. The panels are cut on our CNC routers, the flex is bent and sealed by our fabricators and every sign is switched on and checked by our electricians before it leaves. One sign or forty identical ones for a chain, the drawing is the same and so is the test.
