Mall Shopfront Signs in the UAEMall shop signage that passes tenant coordination first time
Mall shop signage is the set of signs that identifies a tenant unit inside a shopping centre: usually 3D letters or a logo on the bulkhead above the entrance, a projecting blade sign seen down the corridor, graphics on the glazing and often a logo on the back wall. Unlike a street fascia, almost every detail is set by the landlord's fit-out manual: the sign zone, the maximum depth, the lighting type, the colour temperature and even when it switches on.
The mall is kind to signs and hard on suppliers. There is no sun, rain or sand, so fine trimless letters, mirror acrylic and painted finishes last very well, and shoppers see them from three to fifteen metres, so detail shows. What goes wrong is process: drawings that ignore the depth limit, materials without fire data, a supplier who fabricates before approval, or a night crew without the right documents. Our draftsmen read the criteria before our designers draw anything, and nothing is cut in our factory until the mall has approved.
Bayan Signage is the production arm of Bayan Advertising, which has worked in the UAE for 15 years, and our Ajman factory has made shopfront signs since 2016 for national retail groups and international brands. Letters, LEDs, finishing and packing for night delivery are all done in-house, and one project manager deals with the mall's tenant coordination team from first submission to final inspection.
